Another public company will soon be born in Central Florida.
Winter Park-based Cytocom Inc. on Oct. 16 entered into an agreement with Cleveland BioLabs Inc. (Nasdaq: CBLI) to merge into a single company, according to a recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The new firm will trade on the Nasdaq under the name Cytocom, the companies announced Oct. 20.
The merger sets up Cytocom, which was growing before the deal, to capture more commercial work in Central Florida.
